Our Crew members are the lifeblood of GYG. You are on the front line, greeting customers, taking orders, rolling burritos, re-stocking the fridges, basic food prep, wiping tables, and learning other roles across the team. You’ll get exposure to every aspect of what goes into running a busy, GYG business.

The Cook is at the heart of the restaurant operations. You will be preparing fresh and delicious food, problem-solving, and weighing in with expertise on vibrant Mexican flavors. You’ll have the opportunity to utilize fresh ingredients to produce high-standard products for our new and regular guests.

The Head Cook is responsible for ensuring kitchen quality standards are always complied with. You’ll support recruitment, training, and development of kitchen crew, supporting the restaurant manager with P&L results and ensuring food safety and WH&S policies and procedures are adhered to.

The Shift Manager is responsible for leading crew during specific periods of trade, motivating and engaging the team on shift by championing our food safety and quality standards. You will lead the team through busy service periods, crew training and proactively improving guest experience.

The Department Manager is responsible for supporting the people and food departments on a daily basis. Leading teams through busy service periods and training, you will also support inventory and financial management whilst proactively improving the guest experience as a top priority.

The General Manager is responsible for the general running and financial performance of the restaurant, overseeing quality, managing inventory, and ensuring adherence to procedures whilst training and developing the team to consistently produce remarkable guest experiences.
